Lance Kindl
Lance Kindl is a former band director of Parkview High School in Lilburn, GA between 2016 and 2022. Mr. Kindl was involved with all areas of the program including the concert bands, percussion, marching band, and the music technology courses. Previously, Mr. Kindl was the Assistant Director of Bands at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA. Mr. Kindl has been a cast member of the Emmy and Tony Award Winning Broadway show Blast!, having toured as a snare soloist or percussion swing for Blast! in nine tours since 2005. He has performed in 48 United States, all 47 prefectures of Japan, South Korea, Macau, and Argentina.
A native of Gwinnett County, Mr. Kindl earned his Master of Music in Music Performance and Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Georgia. He has studied with Dr. Tony McCutchen, Dr. Arvin Scott, and Scott Pollard. Mr. Kindl was a member of multiple music ensembles at the University of Georgia including the UGA Wind Ensemble, the Salsa Band, the Steel Band, and the award-winning Redcoat Marching Band, where he was section leader from 2001 through 2003. Mr. Kindl has been active in Drum Corps International and Winter Guard International, having marched or instructed with numerous ensembles including Phantom Regiment, the Bluecoats, Spirit of Atlanta, Odyssey Percussion Theater, and Lambert High School.
