Tita Lovell
Tita has served as a colorguard educator in various roles and with a number of organizations. She was the director of the colorguard program at Flowery Branch High School from 2010-2021. She has worked on staff and in administrative roles with Georgia Tech Colorguard, Paramount Winterguard, Atlanta CV Drum & Bugle Corps, and Reverie. She also has served on the executive board of the Southern Association for Performance Arts (SAPA) since 2013. Recently, she earned her 200 hour yoga teaching certification and level 1 barre certification. She teaches regular classes at a local studio in both of these modalities.
Outside of colorguard, Tita is a secondary science educator teaching physics and astronomy at Paul Duke STEM High School in Norcross, GA. She is a member of Georgia Science Teachers Association (GSTA) and the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA). She is an alumni member of Sigma Alpha Iota & Kappa Kappa Psi. She holds a BA in Music from Agnes Scott College, BS in Materials Science & Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and MAT in Secondary Science Education from the University of Georgia. She is married to Mikhail Lovell, and they have two excited & curious children together named Imogen & Kepler.
